A TRUE ATV BRAKE UPGRADE!! Galfer's WORKS Brake System.
Evolved over ATV racing for now more than 7 years, Galfer Braking Systems and its fleet of Sport Quad racers have developed what is now called "the works brake system ".
As Galfer explains, "over the years we have cut rotors differently and made the now well know GALFER WAVE rotors, we have come up with specific brake compounds to overhaul the performance of ATV race brakes, but up to now we had not come up with a true "works" brake system. Once again, added years of experience and testing, we have now team up with a world renown brake master cylinder manufacturer to come up with the ULTIMATE on brake feel and performance".
The works ATV brake system consists of Galfer's unique PTFE62 Teflon 2.8 steel braided hoses along with a race radial master cylinder. For those that are not too familiar with a radial master cylinder, you will be glad to know that it was designed to direct the force produced at the lever directly to the brake pump or "piston", allowing for much better and direct force to the caliper and therefore less brake fatigue to the rider. These master cylinders are used on all our top Super Bike teams, such as Super Bike championship winning and Galfer product user Team Yoshimura Suzuki with Mat Mladin. This brake system is designed to reduce brake fatigue and allow for much deeper brake stopping distances, you’ve never felt anything like this on your ATV.
