This edition of Galfer Riders is a little different. Instead of profiling an influencer, builder or dealership, we would like to share a story from the recent Sturgis Rally. During the rally, Mark, from our sales team, met a man named Ron Knight. Ron was attending his first motorcycle rally with his son Vincent, and after the rally he reached out to us to let us know how much he appreciated the experience.
Mark, it was nice meeting you while eating lunch at the Sturgis Rally. At age 73, with son Vincent, I attended my first and most probably my last motorcycle rally due to Kidney surgery and diagnosis of Cancer I received only 6 days before we met having lunch. It is always nice to be in the presence of sales staff that are knowledgeable about products they promote and sell. You clearly know what you are doing and products you sell. Thanks again. I wore your company shirt the next 4 days at the rally and Vincent sported your company hat. Cordially, Ron and Vincent Knight of Fort Collins, CO
Although the meeting was brief, it was clear that this was one of those encounters that made a big impression on both Ron and Mark. Ron was advised by his doctor not to go to the rally, but knowing that his time on this earth is short, Ron has chosen to enjoy it and create some memories for his son, family and friends. Ron left us with this bit of advice, something we all should take to heart:
We sincerely wish Ron, Vincent, and their loved ones the best during this challenging time, and one thing is for certain: we will always remember Ron and Vincent from Fort Collins, CO.
