GalferUSA proudly supports some of the best motocross athletes on several of the top-tier professional teams.
After a long season of ups and downs, we are very proud of the results that GalferUSA athletes have produced.
ROCKY MOUNTAIN ATV/MC RACE TEAM
Rocky Mountain/ATV/MC athlete Blake Baggett finished in the top 5 of the 450 overall championship points for the 2018 season, and celebrated several podium finishes on his KTM. His teammate, Benny Bloss had his career-best overall finish with 7th overall.
ROCKSTAR ENERGY/HUSQVARNA RACE TEAM
“Filthy” Phil Nicolleti and the Rockstar-Husqvarna team finished 6th overall in the 450-points championship riding with GalferUSA braking systems.
The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna 250-factory team riders Michael Mosiman and Mitchell Harrison finished 11th and 12th, respectively, in the overall season points after showing great improvement and speed throughout the season.
JGRMX/AUTOTRADER/SUZUKI
A few points behind Nicoletti was Weston Peick, who finished 8th overall in the 450-points championship with the JGRMX Autotrader/Suzuki race team. Peick battled against a nasty hand injury throughout the season, but trucked through it to finish in the top ten. We are happy to hear he will be getting the neccesary surgery and spending time to recover before Monster Energy Supercross starts in January. His teammate, Justin Hill finished 12th overall. Justin Bogle made a mid-season comeback from a Supercross injury to holeshot several consecutive motos and remind everyone that he is still a threat. An unexpected injury was found in his hand, and he has since gotten surgery to fix it. We hope to see him back at it in time for Supercross alongside Peick and the rest of the team.
TPJ FLY RACING TEAM
The TPJ Fly Racing team showed great promise with Dylan Merriam — the young gun who’s gunning for the top. Toward the end of the season Merriam found his groove and even hole-shotted several of the 450 motos — something that’s unheard of with a privateer rider. We are looking forward to seeing what Merriam and the TPJ Racing team bring to the table in 2019.
The GalferUSA team is extremely proud of our athletes and teams for their dedication and the support of the GalferUSA brand throughout the season. Pro Motocross is one of the most grueling motorcycle racing series in the world. This season we saw extreme heat, dust, dirt, flash floods and thunderstorms as the championship race drudge on. We are very proud that our performance braking systems withstood the conditions and the beating that our athletes put on them in 2018.
